“I'm a snowboarder that ended up working in the snowmobile industry and learning to ride from many of the legends of the backcountry freeride sport. This experience has made me a dual-sport rider, (70% sledder / 30% snowboarder), avalanche instructor, and public lands access advocate.”

How did you get your start: “To access the backcountry for snowboarding fresh snow."
Favorite TOBE Gear: “Mono suits keep the snow out of my crack! :)”
What makes TOBE the ideal gear for you? “TOBE and I have worked together for 8 years now. The brand has a better style and fit than traditional snowmobile outerwear brands. I can wear a TOBE mono suit at the ski area or in the backcountry and it works.”
Favorite zones: “Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Alaska”
Plans and goals for this season: “Continue to build Backcountry United into a national voice for multi-use recreational access to public lands.”
Biggest Accomplishment: www.itsallyours.us
Inspiration: "I thrive in surrounding myself with inspiring people who push me beyond my own limits."
Anything else people should know about you: "If we care about our access to public lands, we have to change the conversation and perception of our sport and culture to be more of respectful stewards vs. "shredding" and "braaaping" all the time. Our public lands belong to everyone. That is our opportunity, and our responsibility."
